SAMIRA GHAZAL, Attorney at Law, was born in Miami, Florida. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, in Miami, Florida, and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1990. Ms. Ghazal graduated with various Honors from the University of Miami School of Law, including the Society of Bar and Gavel and Moot Court Board, and was a Quarter-Finalist in the Advanced Moot Court Competition. She was also Director of the Public Relations Committee and the Director of the Third District Court of Appeals Committee for the Moot Court Board. In addition, Ms. Ghazal attended the Oxford School of Law, in Oxford England, concentrating her international studies on comparative civil and criminal rights. She was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in 1985, 1986, and 1987.

During law school, she was an apprentice with Honorable Natalie Baskin in the Third District Court of Appeals. Upon receiving her degree, she joined the Public Defender's Office in Dade County, Florida, which has been recognized as having one of the best jury trial litigation training programs in the United States of America. In 1994, she entered into private practice.

Ms. Ghazal focuses her practice of law exclusively on consumer law. She has extensive litigation experience and is licensed to practice law both in Florida and the Federal courts. Her areas of concentration are the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Foreclosure Defense, and Bankruptcy. She acts as a consultant to law enforcement agencies and other attorneys.

For the 2000-2001 year and 2004-2005, she received the award for Who's Who In Outstanding Leadership in Their Profession. She volunteers doing free educational seminars at various local institutions. These seminars are always free of charge to the public and they focus on educating consumers on how to correct their credit file, how to handle identity theft, re-establish credit after a bankruptcy, and improve their credit score so that they qualify for the purchase of their first home.
